I lost my mom two years ago (to Parkinson's) and know exactly what you mean about needing her. Mom wasn't at my wedding, and she won't get to meet her first grandchild--my daughter, who is due in March. There are so many questions I never got to ask her, so many things about her life that I don't know. When I need advice she is always the first person I think of.
